Celebration!

This past weekend we went to a Birthday Party for a baby I used to nanny for. They are Indian so 1st birthday espaically for baby boys are a big deal. I got to wear a cool alfit and everything. They had lots of yummy Indian food, dancing, and a special ceremony. It was so fun!



This is a ceremony they do where everyone throws nuts into the fire. Its supposed to bring Good luck and prosperity to the baby.


There was lots of fun dancing, and yes me and Keith were out there too.


This is one of the little boys I nannied for. I miss him :(

It was such a fun night! I wish we could go to one again!

Craft Weekend

So this weekend was a craft weekend. I don't know why but I was just in the mood. First of all me and Keith tried a new meal we both have never had before. Eggplant Parmagina. It turned out Yummy!


On Friday we went on a date to the Temple, DI and Walmart. I know HOT DATE! While strolling through DI we found a wooden A and I took it home and painted it. Craft #1.


For our wedding a friend gave us this sign to hang up keys and stuff. Being in a crafty mood I repainted it. Craft #2


And then I finished up my little brother Jacob's birthday present. (Craft #3) Which is a surprise so no pictures.

A Little Catch up

It's been a few weeks...
We stayed home for Christmas and though we really missed our family it was a fun first Christmas.



My sister, Dana visited us last week too! It was such a fun visit.


We also got a fish. This is Gordon.


And we started Winter semester at school. Both of us are taking 5 classes which means we'll be busy busy busy.
