Waiting Game...

I am 38 1/2 weeks and have still been contracting almost constantly. My doctor said that they would talk about induction this week and I am so excited! And I have grown so much, I don't think I could get any bigger. Here's me at 32 weeks, just 6 weeks ago, for a comparison...

And here's me today at 38 1/2 weeks.
So as you can see this Mama is so ready! I'm so ready for this waiting game to be over, so ready to have my body back (sort of) and SOOO READY to meet my baby Girl!

It's Official!

I am a College Grad. We got this in the mail this week. Pretty cool huh?
An update on me and baby girl. I am now 37 weeks with 20 days to go till my due date. I have been having very painful contractions on and off since last weekend and we have even gone to the hospital 3 times because the contractions get to be 2 mins apart, lasting 5-7 hours, and very painful. But they keep sending me home from the hospital because the contractions stop. The doctors say sometimes first mom's do this for a few days to weeks before actual labor starts, which is not what a hurting mama wants to hear. Lame. Meanwhile my mama flew in town to be here for the birth. We've had a fun time in between painful labor taking pictures, painting my belly like a pumpkin and shopping. It's been a nice vacation, but I'm ready to hold my baby! These are my favs.

Keeping Busy

Yay! Today I am 35 weeks so the doctor took me off all forms of bedrest and said that I can slowly start moving around and working out again. I'm free! That was the longest 5 weeks of my life! But I did get lots of crafts and projects done for baby girl.

Here is the quilt I made for her. It's so cuddly and soft!

And I made a few pairs of baby scratch mittens so she doesn't scratch her face. They sell these at the store for like 3 pairs for $10. I used scrap fabric and made them for free!

Baby's room is also completely finished and organized, ready to go. I even painted letters for her name above her crib. It turned out so cute!

I also am just finishing Kaylie's birthday present, (her birthday is June 11th and my due date is June 7th, so I figured I better do it now) She is going to love it!
I found this and it made me laugh! Totally me lol!

Only 35 days left before my due date! I can't wait!

Trust

The month of April began with us having to put a lot of trust in doctors, that me and baby would be ok, and Heavenly Father that all would work out, no matter what happened. And throughout the whole month, finishing classes, and taking tests, while still trying to take it easy and stay as calm as possible so that I don't have more contractions. It's been a crazy, but wonderful month. But now I feel like the month is ending with a calling to trust yet again.
Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a planner. I make endless to do lists, and can't survive without my day planner. But we can make as many plans as we want and have those plans completely turned upside down, with the only option left is to trust in someone who has a higher plan, one that though we want so badley to see, we cannot.

"Trusting in God’s will is central to our mortality. With faith in Him, we draw upon the power of Christ’s Atonement at those times when questions abound and answers are few."- RASBAND
Though we have tons of questions of where we will be at the end of summer, and what path we are to take I know that we are not alone.

"Behold, I have graven thee upon the apalms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me"-1 Nephi 21:16

So now that April has ended, May brings another month of trust. Trust that Baby girl is going to get here on time and healthy and that God has a plan in store for us that though we cannot see, it will be the right one for us.
