Teaching her to remember

In my family we have a tradition where every Veterans/Memorial day we go see the flags and the Cemetery. I had to work that whole day but my mom took Addie.
I love these pictures she took.

This is her saying "Jesus" and pointing to the Jesus picture.

I want Addie to learn to remember her family from the past. The ones that paved the way for her to have the life we have today.
Yesterday I took her back to this cemetery to visit her Great Great Grandma Ruth's grave, the one she is named after. She seemed to realize how peaceful and respectful the place was. She stood next to me and I said this was Grandma Ruby's grave and I miss her. Then when we left I said say Goodbye, and she said "Bye, Bye Bye" just like Grandma Ruby did, and blew a kiss.
She fits that middle name perfectly. I can't believe how alike she is to her Great Great Grandma. I think maybe its because she got to meet her before she came to me.
Either way it is such a bittersweet joy to see her smile, or twiddle her thumbs, and sing "Bye, Bye" just like her Grandma Ruth.

I can't wait as she grows to continue to teach her the importance of remembering the loved ones from the past.
I love my perfect Adelyn Ruth Adair.

Still catching up

Cousin bath!
Blackmail for when they are older!

There two pictures are from Folsom. We love to walk around the downtown area and Addie loves playing in the old houses they have their and the Train.
I love her little chezzers!
She kept saying "Bath, Bath"...she wanted a bath in this tub like a pioneer baby!
We love her

Keeping busy

Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to.
I have been horrible at taking real picture on my camera latly so these are all from mine of Keith's phone but they are still cute!
This is her at the mall!

Playing with the pots and pans while I cook dinner...she sat her for probably ten minuets.

She loves...loves going to the park...she crys everytime we drive/walk past one and don't stop!

Her newest obbession is Mickey Mouse or as she calls it "ninnie" She talks about him all the time and rarely leave the house without him!

She does the cheesiest smiles ever!
Seriously where does she get this?
I just love this girl, she certinitly keeps me on my toes...earlier today, I couldn't find her in the house, I peeked behind the couch and she was hiding. And Yesturday morning she took it upon herself to empty every book off of her bookshelf and every toy from her toy box. She is a wild one but I am So So So grateful to have my Addie Ruth!

Halloween

I have been horrible this month on updating the blog. Hopefully I can do better during the Holidays!
Here are the Halloween pictures!
Adelyn makes THE CUTEST Princess Ariel...

Keith and I were Mary Poppins and Bert

Addie had so fun Trick-or-Treating! She literally skipped from doory to door, unless it was a scary house, then she would say "oh no no no"
Halloween was a blast!
