Acid Reflex

My poor baby has acid reflex :(
We took her to the doctor this morning because she kept projectile vomiting and wheezing. They said she has acid reflex which makes her tummy upset and makes her throw up after she eats. Luckily the doctor thinks that she has just a minor case and with a close monitoring of her food intake and daily gas drops should solve the problem. But it makes me so sad when my baby doesn't feel good!

But despite how she feels she still is the cutest baby in the world, seriously look at her.

Picnic Day

Update on Addie Ruth
Friday she had her first doctor's apt. She surprised the nurses with her ability to soil the examination bed not twice but three times within minuets. But she is healthy and growing strong. She has gained back her birth weight that she lost and then some. She is now 7 lbs 13 ounces and 20.5 inches long
Here's her after the apt, even with her first shots, she went right to sleep after.

Saturday we took her on her first picnic at Bridal Veil falls.
She spent most of the time sleeping again.

And today was Addie's first day at church. Here she is all ready to go.
She just couldn't be any cuter!

New Daddy

Keith is a great dad. He just can't get enough of his little girl. He has to hold her as soon as he gets home from work or school and loves taking her picture. It is the most adorable thing I've ever seen.
Last night he experienced his first Addie blowout. I've been around little babies all my life so to me this was no surprise, but seeing Keith's shocked, sleepy face was hilarious.
I was in bed when I hear from Addie's bedroom, Keith just say "Whoa!" (never a good sign!) so me and my mom run in there and find that she sprayed poop literally across the room  as Keith was changing her. Seriously, she sprayed 4feet, and Keith was covered in it. So sad but so funny!

He kept asking, "Is this normal? Why does it have chunks! That was disgusting!"

Every new dad's got learn to handle big blowouts at some point!

and here's one more picture of baby girl just cause shes cute.

Adelyn Ruth Adair

We went in on Friday morning to be induced at the hospital. Once they broke my water I went really fast and Addie Ruth was born at 7:40 pm. I think I cried for a hour afterwards. It was the most amazing experience and I'll always remember first seeing her and holding my baby girl.
Adelyn Ruth 7lbs. 20''

Adelyn was a name I have loved forever and we love the nickname Addie. Ruth is named after my Great Grandmother (her Great Great Grandma) who passed away a little over a month ago. I think she kind of looks like her sometimes, and I like to think Addie got to spend a little bit of time with her Grandma before she came down to us.

I just can't get enough of this girl. She's already all smiles.

We are such happy parents and feel so blessed to have this sweet little one.

Thank you everyone for the prayers, blessings and help all along this journey. She can't wait to meet all her family and friends. Love to all!
