Beach Trip

Last week we went to the beach. We stopped at the Jelly Belly Factory on the way down. Addie thought it was so fun that they gave you free candy. She loved it so much she keeps asking to go back.
Then we headed to the beach. Addie immediately went into the water and Lydia pretty much ate the first hour we were there. This kid is a eating monster I tell you.
Addie ran in and out of the waves and kept throwing sand around. She loved it.
Here is a video of her playing in the waves...

And I REALLY wish I would have kept taking the video because right after I stopped she fell and rolled in the sand. She was covered HEAD TO TOE in sand. We scrubbed sand out of her ears and hair for days!
But that didn't stop her she still kept rolling in the sand and the waves. Love my daring, brave girl!

When Lydia finally decided lunch was over I let her put her feet in the sand. She LOVED it. She giggled every time the water hit her feet and cried for me to put her down. This picture pretty much sums up how happy this girl was the whole day.

Keith and I went on our Anniversary trip to this beach almost exactly a year ago, when I was pregnant with Liddy. It is fun to go back there with my baby Liddy.

It was the best beach day and despite the mess and never ending piles of sand that a beach trip creates, it was so WORTH IT to see those girls happy faces. I cannot wait to go back!

La Trip

This past weekend we visited Grandpa Adair and Granny Lori in LA.
Addie had a BLAST and was VERY sad to come home.
We went to La Brea Tar pit museum.
Addie loved looking at the "dinosaur" bones

Lydia loved eating a Roscoe's Fried Chicken n Waffles
(Seriously if you are ever in LA stop by it is the greatest waffles and fried chicken you'll ever eat!)
We swam everyday and had lots of fun playing with Granny Lori and Grandpa. Addie loved playing with her grandparents! It was so cute when she woke up in the morning and would immediately begin the "Wanna play with me Granny Lori?" I'm pretty sure they were exhausted when we left from chasing this crazy busy girl around!

Watching while everyone else swims. This girl is seriously gorgeous!

We went to a Nature Museum. Addie liked the snacks and the bees the best, ya gross.
Trying on Grandpa's 49er Helmet, it almost fit...haha
Getting a picture of these cute girls before church was near impossible

Lots of reading time

and watering the plants. After we got home I caught Addie dumping buckets of water from her pool on our very dry lawn saying, "I'm watering my garden like my Granny Lori!"

Nice walks in PJs of course

Like father like son
It was a great trip and we miss them so much already. Addie asks almost everyday to go visit them again and already has an agenda for when we do (the Library, the Zoo, swimming, and Disneyland. One can hope Addie girl!)
We love and miss our LA Adairs!

Independence Day

4th of July day was a blast! Independence day has always been one of my favorite Holidays, so we always go all out, complete with cute 4th clothes for this girls and everything.
Addie was in a bit of a mood that day so we didn't get many good pictures of her, let alone one of both girls together, but here is one good one right before we left for the ward breakfast.
Addie rode her bike in the kids parade after the ward breakfast she loved it.
After breakfast we went to my mom's house where Liddy crawled around and we did 4th of July crafts.
We painted Fireworks, painted red, white and blue rocks, did some science experiments (including a mento/coke explosion). We also made 4th of July crowns, necklaces and wands. it was such a fun craft day.

My mom also had a photo booth set up. Addie took some cute pictures here.

My crazy sill family...

I love these pictures my mom got of me and Lydia outside. They turned out so cute!

What a fun 4th of July it was!
