New Year...New Life

Happy 2014!

This year was a whirlwind of a year. I think I'll look back on this year(or maybe the past 2 years) and think of it as the year of Changes! 

You think you have your life all planned out and know exactly where you are going...but Heavenly Father has of way of changing things. 

Life happens and it takes you and all you thought was going to happen and flips it around, and erases everything you thought your life may be at this point.

But what we don't, or I didn't, realize is that He had his hand in all of it. He knew EXACTLY where he was putting us, even when I thought nobody had control of my life! He did! 

I think its when we finally give up that control and say ok Father I don't know what I'm doing anymore, take my life and my will and lead me where I'm supposed to be. 

And the most amazing thing happened....He did. 

So much happened this year, from Addie growing, walking, talking, running and getting constantly into trouble. To car problems, work problems, money problems, health problems, to relationships, and career changes. This year brought A LOT of heartache...probably more than any year yet. But despite how utterly lost and confused I felt, I trusted in His plan and look at all the JOY this year brought!

This year turned out better than I could have possibly imagined!

We are never alone...

He really is a God in the details and He knows exactly where He is guiding us. 

If only we let Him.

I love my life and my little family, and I could not imagine my life any different, any better than it is right now.

So here's to the new year! 

2014 BRING IT ON!
