Grow up

I have been horrible at updating this blog. So to catch up...

We are all moved in and are loving having a home instead of a just an apartment.

It took a little while but Addie is finally comfortable in our new home and she loves having the space, especially the backyard, to play.

She is getting so big too.

She is starting to sing songs along with us. 

Her favorites are "Popcorn Popping", "wheels on the bus" and "if you're happy and you know it".  We often sing to get her to smile for pictures...as seen above!

She is so bubbly and continues to surprise us by how smart she is. She can almost sing the whole Alphabet song, if we are singing with her and can count to 20 with help. 

And she is talking ALL the time. I feel like everyday she says a new word. Yesterday she said "Amazing" and today during Sacrament Meeting she couldn't stop saying "Mine, I want it, I want it Mine!"

She stills loves going on bike rides or just playing outside. And we love have a neighborhood that is so accessible for bike rides and walks. 

She also just learned how to jump with two feet. Which explains why she has had such a huge language boost. (Learning to jump triggers connection in the brain that usually result in a HUGE language boost.) 

She has just started to love dressing up. She actually jumping for joy when i told her it was time to put on her church dress and curl her hair like a Princess. She truly is a Princess....and a Diva

For Mommy school this weekend we painted the Letter A. Addie had so much fun...She takes painting VERY SERIOUSLY.

 

Yesterday we started our very first family Garden. Addie had a blast "helping" and I can't wait to grow this together as a family. 

We love our Addie Ruth and love watching her grow and learn. She is my favorite.
