Addie has recently realized that the leaves are falling off the trees...
She asked me at the park the other day, who put all the leaves on the ground, the proceeded to dance like a ballerina in the leaf piles.
I think this may be her favorite time of year too!
After all its the best time of year for her favorite fruit, blackberries.
We may have bought 6 packages at once when they went on sale so we could freeze them. This girl couldn't have been happier.
We have been busy cleaning, organizing, putting a crib together and things ready for sister's arrival, which is very, very soon.
But we have found time for fun things...Like carousel rides at the mall.
Addie Daddy Dates...Aren't these two just the cutest!
And trips to the park. They just built a huge park right next to our house. It has a cool play-set, walking trails, a concrete lizard to play on and even a zip line! It's so nice to have a park so close to home now!
She has been so funny lately too. She has really been into imaginary play lately. The other day she came up to me with her hands clasped and said she caught a spider (which I definitely would not put past this girl), then through her pretend spider at Mommy! And she makes me play school all the time where she is the teacher. So funny!
On Tuesday, Veteran's Day, we went to the cemetery to see the flags and we stopped by Grandma Ruth's grave who Addie Ruth is named after. I love this picture of her pointed to "Ruth". I know her Great Great Grandma watches over her.
Anyways... The countdown to baby time has officially begun, 34 Days, and we are busy trying to get everything ready for her and for Christmas!
