We went to the Citrus Heights, or as Addie calls it, the "Sister Heights", City 4th of July Parade, which ironically is a week before the 4th.
My mom and Kaylie came too. The two girls had so much fun, and looked so darling in their patriotic clothes! People in the parade kept stopping to say how cute they were together!
Addie got a flower balloon wand which then turned into a sword...funny how that always seems to happen.
Grandma and the cute girls
Lydia LOVED the parade and held this flag almost the whole time. She waved and waved it till her arm tired out. It was so funny.
We have been fairly busy the past few weeks, besides the parade. Here are a few snapshots of what we've been up to...
Swimming outside in the pool. I think Uncle Ethan is in with her...
Piggy tales on our sweet baby Liddy
Gymnastics class..they got to chose an animal to dress up like. She chose tiger first then switched to elephant towards the end.
Lydia has had sooo many accomplishments the past few weeks. She is not only saying "mama" "dada" and "bye bye" but just started waving today and pulling up to a stand (on the 4th of July)
She constantly surprises us!
Addie switched from Gymnastics (after almost 3 years of doing it) to Dance class. She is loving Ballet and her teacher tells me she is quite the talker and leader in the group. She had to be reminded today that if she chooses to run around in circles everyone else will follow her. She is full of energy and spirit but we love her through and through and wouldn't have her any other way.
Here is a video from today of Liddy girl waving "bye bye" its really cute
And just so people believe me that my almost 7 month old really does say three words...here's a video "bye bye" and "mama"
And finally one of her crawling kinda...we call it the snake crawl. I think she may just skip real crawling because she's so fast crawling like this and she is already pulling up to furniture. She is ALWAYS on the move.
