I am doing much better since my surgery earlier this week. Every day I have more and more energy and can move around a bit more. And I can' finally start eating whatever I want. Its been so long since I've had a greasy hamburger and fries or coke. So today we had that for lunch. It was AMAZING!
So after being stuck in bed all week I was so, so ready to get out of the house and do something fun today.
We couldn't do to much cause I still can't walk around for to long before my incisions hurt, but we went to Target and the fabric store to get fabric for Addie's Easter dress. It was so nice to get out!
We also all played in the backyard together. She had a blast and looked so cute in her new outfit Grandma Lori got her!
She kept peeking through the fence to try to see the dog next door.
I just love how innocent and carefree she looks.
Our backyard is covered in wishing flowers, and she LOVES them.
We sang songs in the backyard, or neighbors probably think we're weird. We love having a backyard to play in now. Its such a blessing.
We love our Addie Ruth. She sure can be a challenge at times (especially this week since I've been out of commission) but she is the light of our lives and I could not imagine my days without her laugh, smile, and bubbly personality. It amazing how tight a little toddler can hold your heart.
